The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library gives local job seekers a great resource for finding a new career or a new direction in their life at its Community Job Fair, set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the library.
Attendees should come prepared for on-site interviews and will have the chance to learn more about multiple participating employers. Teens of working age or adults may participate.
Companies scheduled to attend the event include Panera Bread, Sunbelt Staffing, the United States Postal Service, Tinker Federal Credit Union, WinCo Foods, Fresh Creative Foods, Manpower, the City of Oklahoma City, Legend Memory Care, H&R Block, Silver Star Construction, the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, Moore Police Department Communications Division, Braum's, Maurices, Work Ready Oklahoma, Southwest Airlines, Tinker Air Force Base Civilian Employment, Walgreens, City of Moore/The Station, Goodwell Industries of Central Oklahoma, Waddell and Reed, Johnson Controls Inc., and the Pioneer Library System.
The list of employers may be updated as the event date approaches.
The event also will feature assistance with resume and cover letters and the library’s Computer Training Center will be available for prospective job candidate to immediately complete online applications.
