Entries now are being sought for Norman Public Library Central’s annual Children’s Poetry Contest. The contest, now in its 20th year, seeks original poems from children in kindergarten through fifth grades that then will be judged in a contest.

Blank forms for the contest are available at the Children’s Services Desk of the library and must be returned by Friday, March 25.

The awards presentation and celebration of efforts of all the participants is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the library. On that night, winners will receive their awards and are invited to read their work if they desire for the audience.

For more information on the contest, visit the children’s services area of the library. And find out more about any of the programs and services of the library by calling 701-2600.
