The Blanchard Public Library begins a series of “Tai Chi: Eight Steps to Moving for Better Balance” classes for adults at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at the library.

Attendees will learn movements of Tai Chi in an effort to help reduce stress and increase balance and flexibility. The program is designed for people of all levels of mobility and can be performed either standing or sitting.

The series will continue at 2 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays for 12 sessions, concluding on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Ages 18 and up may participate. Space is limited so advance registration is required to attend.
