The Moore Public Library invites families with young children to be part of a variety of program opportunities offered at the library and in the community throughout August.
The schedule for the month features:
Families Explore: Robots, 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 and 17 – a chance for families to work together and learn some basic coding and programming.
Preschool Story Time, 10 a.m. Tuesdays, Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27 – for children older than 2, with stories, songs and more;
Lapsit Story Time, 10 and 10:45 a.m. Wednesdays, Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28, geared to babies 24 months and younger and their caregivers;
Enchanted Fairy Tale Forest, 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 – stories, games, crafts and more with a fairy tale theme;
Kid’s Club, 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, an activity for students in kindergarten, first grade or second grade;
Story Time at the Boxcar, 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 – Story Time goes on the road to The Boxcar, 2100 N. Eastern Ave.;
Sensory Play Time, 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, an ideal program for children ages 2 to 6 who have trouble with big crowds, are on the autism spectrum or are sensitive to sensory overload;
