Tai ChiThe Newcastle Public Library will host the series “Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance” for adults beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the library.

Attendees will learn movements of Tai Chi in an effort to help reduce stress and increase balance and flexibility. The program is designed for people of all levels of mobility and can be performed either standing or sitting.

The series will continue at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a total of 12 sessions through Thursday, Sept. 12.

Space is limited so advance registration is required, and participants need to attend the first class to take part in the series.
