MoonFifty years ago, Man first walked on the Moon when Neil Armstrong stepped off of the Apollo 11 spacecraft and onto the lunar surface.

A half-century in the future, the Noble Public Library will commemorate the date with its own Moon Landing in its Summer Learning Program Closer, taking place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the library.

The event will feature games, activities, space food and more to celebrate the anniversary of the lunar landing and this year’s Summer Learning Program, “A Universe of Stories.” It’s also a great time for readers to turn in their summer goal and select a free book prize.

All ages may attend, and no advance registration is required.
