Norman Public Library Central has a new home, but its tradition of fun and educational program opportunities for children and their families has not changed.

Age-appropriate activities are offered throughout the week. On the schedule during February are:

Story Time (ages 2 to 5) – 10 a.m. Mondays;

Library Music Connection (ages 3 to 7) – 6 p.m. Tuesdays;

Baby Story Time10 a.m. Wednesdays (on Wednesday, Feb. 12, is Toddler Explorers, an hour of craft and sensory activities for toddlers);

Rhythm Babies 10 a.m. Fridays;

Saturday Story Time11 a.m. Saturdays;

Check with the library’s Children’s Services staff on the first floor for more information on all of the resources available for young readers and their families.

The library provides access to all of the resources of the Pioneer Library System, including more than 700,000 items in its collection, more than 60 online databases and multiple resources for downloading or streaming like OverDrive, Hoopla and Kanopy.
