Tai ChiNorman Public Library West will host a series of “Tai Chi for Health” classes for adults beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at the library.

Attendees will learn movements of Tai Chi in an effort to help reduce stress and increase balance and flexibility. The program is designed for people of all levels of mobility and can be performed either standing or sitting.

Certified Tai Chi instructor Chock Petchprom will lead each session of the series. The classes will continue at 6 p.m. on each Monday night during August.

Registration in advance is encouraged but is not required.
