Library to host free lunch program this summer

FamilyThe Blanchard Public Library will present a free summer lunch program, Lunch-N-Learn, from noon to 2 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday during both June and July at the library.

The service will be available for children and teens up to age 18, who may visit the library for a free nutritious meal provided by the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank. There is no registration or qualification to meet, as the lunches will be available and free to any children or teens.

The lunch program has been made possible by a grant from the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank with assistance from the Blanchard First Baptist Church.

Various community partners also will join the library during the program to share information and resources about their services.
