It’s a busy month for children’s activities in November

Kid in costumeThe Moore Public Library invites families with young children to be part of a variety of program opportunities offered at the library and in the community during November.

The schedule features:

Viva GLARt! Grow a Learner Through Art, 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 – For children up to age 5, a bilingual activity combining art, play and learning.

Stuffed Animal Story Time, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, a special story time for children ages 2 to 5 and their furry friends. Drop off your child’s stuffed animal at the library from 3 to 7 p.m. the night before.

Lapsit Story Time, 10 and 10:45 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 7, 14 and 21, geared to babies and their caregivers;

Preschool Story Time, 10 a.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 13, 20 and 27 – for children ages 2 to 5 with stories, songs and more;

Story Time at the Boxcar, 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 – Story Time goes on the road to The Boxcar, 2100 N. Eastern Ave.;

Family Story Time, 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, with stories, songs and activities for the whole family;

Sensory Story Time, 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, an ideal program for children ages 2 to 6 who have trouble with big crowds, are on the autism spectrum or are sensitive to sensory overload;
