Kids in tunnelThe Moore Public Library invites families with young children to be part of a variety of program opportunities offered by the library during March.

The schedule features:

Families Explore: Mysteries, 11 a.m. Saturdays, March 2 and March 16, with puzzles and mysteries for the family to solve together;

Preschool Story Time, 10 a.m. Tuesdays, March 5, 12, 19 and 26 – for children ages 2 to 5 with stories, songs and more;

Lapsit Story Time, 10 and 10:45 a.m. Wednesdays, March 6, 13, 20 and 27, geared to babies and their caregivers;

Kid’s Club, 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 11, an afterschool activity for students in kindergarten, first grade or second grade;

Sensory Play Time, 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, an ideal program for children ages 2 to 6 who have trouble with big crowds, are on the autism spectrum or are sensitive to sensory overload;

Story Time at the Boxcar, 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21 – Story Time goes on the road to The Boxcar Coffee, 2100 N. Eastern Ave.;

Tween Scene: Sewing, 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 25 – An introduction to sewing techniques for children in 3rd through 5th grades;
