Discover answers to health questions in series

Question marksThe Moore Public Library and the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative will focus on those with chronic health problems during its upcoming series “Healthier Choices, Healthier You,” a six-week series running from 9:30 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, May 29 through June 26 and Monday, July 1, at the library. It has been rescheduled from an earlier date.

The series is designed for individuals and caregivers and will help participants get ideas for dealing with pain, fatigue and the inability to sleep. Participants will learn activities that will help improve strength, exercise, endurance, and safe use of medications. The program also will cover ways to communicate effectively with family, friends, and health professionals.

Ages 18 and up may attend, and registration in advance is required.

This project is funded through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries with a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
