Step outside the library and “Play in the Park”

Kids playThe Moore Public Library is getting outside for a few hours and helping community residents enjoy the summer at its upcoming “Play in the Park” activities.

All ages are invited to join some of their favorite librarians at Central Park, 700 S. Broadway, for these two events:

Play in the Park: Fly a Kite, 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13 – The library will provide kites for families to build their own and fly a kite together.

Play in the Park: Game Time, 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27 – Take part in relay races, run under a parachute, ride scooters and more.

Advance registration is required, as is a waiver signed by participants or a parent or guardian for children or teens under age 18.

Financial assistance for this project is made possible with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered through the Health Literacy Grant by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
