Visit the Noble Public Library to learn more about yoga as the library presents a pair of series beginning in late February and continuing through the spring.
Kids’ Yoga, at 3:15 p.m. on Mondays beginning Monday, Feb. 25, is an afterschool activity for school-age children to learn basic stretches and yoga poses.
Gentle Yoga for Adults will be offered at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, Feb. 27. Certified instructor Claudia Torres will lead workouts designed for beginners at yoga as well as tips and modifications for those who need them.
Yoga mats, blocks and straps are available, or attendees may bring their own.
Advance registration is required in advance of taking part in the classes.
Financial assistance for this special project is made possible with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, part of the Health Literacy Grant.
