Finish up strong with your NaNoWriMo project

WritingWriters, the time has come.

National Novel Writing Month is here.

The Pioneer Library System will hope those taking part in the endeavor, more commonly known as NaNoWriMo, with a series of weekly Sunday afternoon “Write-In” activities in multiple libraries to help keep writers stay on track during November.

During NaNoWriMo, authors set the goal during November of writing at least 50,000 words to complete, or get a big amount of a novel written. Attendees do not have to be participating in NaNoWriMo to attend but just should have an interested in writing.

The schedule of library events includes:

Norman Public Library Central (Rooms A and B), 1:30 p.m. Nov. 4

Norman Public Library West (Café area), 1:30 p.m. Nov. 11

Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library (Room B), 1:30 p.m. Nov. 18

Norman Public Library East (Community Room), 1:30 p.m. Nov. 25

Registration is not required to attend any of the “Write-Ins” and either teens or adults may participate.
