Make time for stories and more with the library

GirlsWe’re sharing stories, singing songs and spreading a love of libraries for families with young children during a variety of program opportunities offered weekly at Norman Public Library East.

Activities scheduled during May include:

Family Story Time, 10 a.m. Thursdays, May 2, 16, 23 and 30 – Listen to stories, learn rhymes and songs and more in a time for discovery of new literacy skills.

After School Explorers. 4:30 p.m. Mondays, May 6 and 20 – School-age children can use experiments, arts and crafts, games and more to explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics) related topics. 

Music Time With Jennifer Voss, 10 a.m. Thursday, May 9 – Using music, Voss provides an interactive program for developing pre-literacy skills and appreciation of music.

Registration is requested in advance of each of the activities.
