Visit the library for slate of children’s activities in September

ChildNorman Public Library West presents a number of regular programs encouraging reading and a love of libraries for young readers during September.

The weekly Story Time: Budding Bookworms, is scheduled at 10 a.m. on each Tuesday morning the library is open. Each Story Time includes books, games, music and more geared to children up to pre-K age.

The library also hosts the special bilingual activity, Viva GLARt! Grow a Learner Through Art, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.  Activities are for ages 5 and under and their caregivers and is a chance for children to learn and develop their brains through simple play.

The program is part of the Pioneer Library System’s Growing Like a Read initiative and were made possible from a contribution from an anonymous donor to PLS in 2015.
