Stop in for a story and more with the library

KidsNorman Public Library West presents multiple weekly activities geared to some of its youngest visitors as they continue on the early stages of their reading journey.

Each Tuesday morning in February, families with young children are invited to Story Time at 10 a.m. The event features books, music, stories and games for budding bookworms pre-K age and younger.

Thursdays also bring activity for children. Music Time with Jennifer Voss, a musical literacy event with singing, dancing and more, is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Thursdays, Feb. 7 and Feb. 21. It’s geared to children ages 4 and under.

Sit, Stay, Read, from 6 to 7 p.m. each Thursday, gives new readers the chance to practice their reading to a therapy dog in a safe and encouraging environment.

Registration is not required for any of the programs.
