Stop in for a story and more at your library

FamilyNorman Public Library West welcomes families with young children to a variety of weekly activities offered at the library.

Each Tuesday morning during March is the library’s Story Time at 10 a.m. The event features books, music, stories and games for budding bookworms pre-K age and younger.

Thursdays also bring multiple programs for children. Music Time with Jennifer Voss, a musical literacy event with singing, dancing and more, is scheduled twice this month at 10 a.m. on March 7 and March 21. It’s geared to children ages 4 and under.

Sit, Stay, Read, from 6 to 7 p.m. each Thursday evening, gives new readers the chance to practice their reading to a therapy dog in a safe and encouraging environment.

Registration is not required for any of the programs.
