Join the library for a variety of activities for young readers

Kids dancingChildren are getting a love of learning and reading from an early age through the weekly program offerings at Norman West.

Each Tuesday morning during May, the library presents Story Time at 10 a.m. The activity will feature books, music, stories and games for budding bookworms pre-K age and younger.

Music Time with Jennifer Voss, a musical literacy event with singing, dancing and more, will be featured at 10 a.m. on Thursdays, May 2 and May 16. It’s geared to children ages 4 and under.

Sit, Stay, Read, hosted from 6 to 7 p.m. each Thursday evening, gives new readers the chance to practice their reading to a therapy dog in a safe and encouraging environment.

Registration is not required for any of the programs.
