The Tecumseh Public Library resumes its series of Wednesday afternoon activities for teens at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, and continues it on most Wednesdays for the remainder of the school year.
Programs are for ages 12 to 17, and themes for January’s events include:
Jan. 16 – Teens Cook Soup: Make and taste-test a batch of soup and take the recipe home;
Jan. 23 – Life-Sized Gaming: Become the “pieces” in a large-scale afternoon of playing games. This event is made possible by funding from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries through a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Jan. 30 – Gaming: Play both electronic and board game favorites;
Space is limited for both the cooking and life-sized gaming activities so advance registration for those two programs will be required.
