Teens can take in afterschool activity through mid-May

RecipesThe Tecumseh Public Library continues a series of Wednesday activities for teens at the library.

Programs are scheduled at 4 p.m. and are geared to ages 12 to 17. The schedule for the rest of this school year features:

April 10 and May 8 Life Size Gaming, a new take on old game favorites with participants acting out the parts of the game pieces;

April 17Teens Cook Taco Salad, make an easy taco salad recipe with supplies provided by the library;

May 1Teens Make Recipe Card Holders, a chance for a unique craft program to house recipes from the library’s cooking programs;

May 15Teens Cook Dessert Bars, speaking of, learn a recipe for a tasty dessert bar with supplies provided by the library;

Financial assistance for the programs is made possible with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.

Registration is required for each of the programs.
