Wednesday afternoons bring teen activity

Summer logoThe Tecumseh Public Library invites area teens to spend some of their summer afternoons taking part in engaging activities inside their local library.

Programs are planned at 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons during July. Upcoming events include:

July 10The Lunar Chronicles: This Science Museum Oklahoma presentation goes into the fairy tale world of Marissa Meyer’s “Lunar Chronicles” in a futuristic experience for teens;

July 17NeckTie Craft: Make either a glasses case or wristlet out of a necktie;

July 24Teens Make Decorative Letters: Decorate a letter to use as a display at home;

July 31It’s a Wrap: Finish up this year’s Summer Learning Program with a class on making wrap sandwiches, as well as distribution of awards and prizes for this summer.

Registration is required separately for each of the programs.
