The Noble Public Library is doubling the chances to discuss great reading opportunities with a new adult book discussion group debuting in September.

The “Bold Reads” group will have its first meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. The focus of the group will be on well-written, engaging books that have the potential to make a reader uncomfortable but for sure make them think. Light morning refreshments will be served at each discussion.

The library also will continue its Cover to Cover Book Club, which meets the second Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. For this month’s Sept. 12 event, the group will discuss The Gown by Jennifer Robson.

Copies of the next month’s books selected for discussions are available for checkout in advance from the library’s main desk.
