Norman Public Library West continues its tradition of offering live music as part of its setting, with multiple activities scheduled during September at the library.

Be on the lookout for:

Open Mic Night, 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 – Show off your talent in music or poetry, or just come watch and see what your Norman neighbors can do. Participants will sign up 15 to 30 minutes before the event.

Third Friday Celtic Night, 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 – Celtic musicians are invited to bring their instruments and play traditional Irish and American tunes in a laid-back setting.

Lunch and Listen, noon Wednesday, Sept. 25 – The duo Miss Brown to You returns for another performance after previous popular efforts in the library’s monthly series. Their style can be described as eclectic, bringing a broad range of musical styles to their performances.

Attendees can order lunch from Paisley Café inside the library or bring their own, and no advance registration is required to attend the concert.
