The Pioneer Library System will hold the 15th annual Touch-A-Truck community event on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 9:00am-12:00 noon at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Norman, 615 E. Robinson Street. From 9:00-10:00am there will be a silent hour for children with noise sensitivities.  During that time, we ask that all participants refrain from honking horns or making loud noises.

For 15 consecutive years, Touch-A-Truck has been “bringing kids together with the trucks they love and the people who make them run,” including cranes, helicopters, fire engines, garbage trucks, mobile banks, school buses, bucket trucks, construction vehicles, mobile weather units and more.

Proceeds benefit the six branch libraries in Cleveland County including Moore, Noble, Norman Central, Norman East, Norman West, and South Oklahoma City. Touch-A-Truck celebrates the value of our community libraries and helps to ensure that the library will continue to inspire innovation, engagement and learning in our Cleveland County communities.
