Pioneer Library System supports your right to vote!

Voting is an important way to make your voice heard. Whether you are preparing to vote for the first time or you've never missed an election, your library has the information you need to register, be informed, and make a plan to vote.

Step one: Check your registration. The deadline to register to vote in the November election has passed, but registering now will make you eligible for future elections. Even if you're already registered, it's a good idea to check your registration status before each election.

Step two: Get informed. Find accurate, non-partisan information about candidates and questions on your ballot by checking trusted resources. For state-wide races and questions, as well as federal elections, the League of Women Voters' Guide is a handy tool; find copies in your local PLS branch or click the link below for an online version.

Step three: Make a plan to vote. Find your polling place, get information about early voting, and print out a sample ballot to take with you on Election Day, all through the Oklahoma Voter Portal.

Step four: Vote! Election Day is November 3, and polls are open from 7 am to 7 pm. If you're busy that day, early voting is available October 28, 29, and 30 from 8 am to 6 pm and October 31 from 8 am to 2 pm. Remember: In Oklahoma, you can early vote only at a location in your county; if you are voting on Election Day, you must vote at your designated precinct.

Step five: Celebrate! Don't forget to wear your I Voted sticker proudly, and we'd love you to tag PLS in your Election Day posts so we can celebrate with you. And if you need to treat yourself after voting, may we suggest a trip to your closest library?
