Lisa Wells Lisa Wells -- Executive Director, Pioneer Library System

Lisa Wells

Lisa Wells brings experience from all aspects of library service to the table as the fourth Executive Director for the Pioneer Library System, having worn many hats in nearly three decades with Pioneer.

Wells began as Executive Director January 16, 2017 after being selected to the position in November 2016 by the PLS Board of Trustees. She succeeds Anne Masters, who retired in January after nearly 10 years in the position.

Wells has had a long career with PLS, having joined the organization in 1990 as an Assistant Librarian at the Purcell Public Library, where she became Branch Manager in 1993.

She was named Branch Manager at the Moore Public Library in 2004 and served both that role and as Cleveland County Coordinator for the system beginning in 2007 before being promoted to Assistant Director for Library Services in 2010. She was advanced to Deputy Director for the system in early 2016.
